JOHANNESBURG - The National Prosecuting Authority has confirmed that it will prosecute former Stellenbosch University student, Theuns Du Toit.
Du Toit was expelled from the university earlier this year, after he urinated on a fellow student, Babalo Ndwayana's belongings, at the Huis Marais residence.
According to a statement, Du Toit will face charges of malicious damage to property and crimen injuria.
Following the incident in May, du Toit faced a disciplinary hearing, after which he was expelled.
