Nomzamo tavern shooting | Death toll rises to 17

JOHANNESBURG - The death toll in the Nomzamo tavern shooting has increased to 17.

The confirmation comes as the suspects in the case appeared in court on Tuesday.

In July, 16 people were shot and killed and the NPA believes it's linked to cable theft and illegal mining.

The accused will apply for bail on  5 December.

According to police, more arrests are imminent.
