    PIETERMARITZBURG - There's no end to political killings in KwaZulu-Natal.

    The ANC in the province says it’s concerned about the increasing number of political hits.

    It suggests they might be a result of coalitions in the province.

    Yet another councillor has been murdered, this time in Imbali township in Pietermaritzburg.

      Mabhungu Mkhize's family says he had received threats.

      The police have arrested two suspects for the murder.

      Political analyst Zamokuhle Mbandlwa says these killings won’t end unless those in power are willing to end them.

      He says KwaZulu-Natal is a very violent province and unfortunately the justice system hasn’t been able to bring perpetrators to book, which is also contributing to the increase in hits.
