JOHANNESBURG - Following a cyber attack at the national pathology lab, clinicians across the country are frustrated.
And they're at times having to rely on their clinical judgment to treat patients in emergency situations.
This is according to the SA Medical Association. The cyber attack last month has delayed the processing of millions of blood tests, and deleted backup data.
But preliminary results of an investigation have shown that databases holding patient information were not lost or compromised.
