Provincial basic education director-general Mathanzima Mweli says the department is regularly contact with organisations regarding implementation.

He said, "it's indeed about time that the nation is briefed about the Komape matter with respect to the structural court interdict. We report to the presidency on this matter regularly to the DG in the presidency."

"I must also indicate minister that we've had meetings with NGO's such as Section 27 and many others including the Human Rights Commission. We have agreed on meeting with them on specific intervals. We are now due for the next meeting with them, we met them towards the end of the year last."

"We've already received a request from Section 27, and we are going to accede to that request minister."
