PRETORIA - Tshwane is expected to have a new mayor in less than 14 days.
This follows the removal of the DA's Cilliers Brink through an ANC-sponsored motion of no confidence.
Politicking continues in the governing of municipalities, often at the expense of residents.
But Tshwane Speaker Mncedi Ndzwanana insists the council will not collapse.
The Tshwane Council is expected to vote for a new mayor within the next 14 days.
It will the metro's eighth mayor since 2016.
