KIMBERLEY - President Cyril Ramaphosa will welcome new police officers at the SAPS passing out parade in Kimberley.
The parade is one of a number of ceremonies taking place in several provinces this week.
A total of 10,000 officers will mark the end of their basic training.
In his State of the Nation Address earlier this year, the President vowed to intensify crime-fighting efforts.
He promised to put more boots on the ground.
He also said specialised teams would also be put in place to focus on specific crimes.
