New Joburg mayor promises to unravel DA failures

JOHANNESBURG - New Johannesburg Mayor Dada Morero says the Democratic Alliance will have to answer to any red flags that are raised as he takes office.

Morero was sworn in as mayor on Saturday morning in the Johannesburg Council Chambers.

He was elected after Mpho Phalatse was removed through a motion of no confidence.

Morero says there are a number of issues that he is going to raise against the DA in the next few weeks.

He accuses the party of acting 'holier than thou'.
