JOHANNESBURG - A national bus strike is looming ahead of the Easter weekend.
Workers represented by Numsa, Sabea and Cobea are planning to down tools if employers don't give into their demands.
They want medical aid and a seven-percent wage increase, among other things.
Unions say those wishing to use bus services this weekend will be greatly inconvenienced if employers don't come back to the negotiating table.
Around 20,000 people are employed in the sector.
