Nandipha and Thabo re-united once more

JOHANNESBURG - Another chapter in the Thabo Bester and Nandipha Magudumana tale unfolded on Tuesday, when the lovebirds were reunited in the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court, under a heavy police presence.

All eyes were on the controversial couple accused of plotting rapist Bester's escape.

Seated side-by-side, they exchanged smiles and held hands in a crowded courtroom, which included the 10 other co-accused in the escape case.

In May 2022, Bester faked his suicide and escaped from his cell in Bloemfontein.

He was eventually recaptured in Tanzania with Magudumana earlier this year.

The case has been postponed to 11 October.
