CAROLINA, MP - Political parties are on the ground detailing their manifestos in an attempt to make in roads and gain votes.
But for many South Africans like 32-year-old Bonisile Shongwe, they've taken the initiative to change the status quo in their community and try to empower young people on their own.

Shongwe says she will be voting on 29 May, but she hopes the party that wins will implement what they promised and really make a difference.
