Murder-accused surgeon faces another postponement

JOHANNESBURG - Peter Beale will have to wait until Monday for his trial to hopefully get underway.

Beale is facing three counts of murder and two of fraud for medical procedures that led to the deaths of three minors.

The paediatric surgeon was arrested in 2019, on a culpable homicide charge that was later upgraded to murder and fraud.

The start of his trial has faced numerous postponements since then.
