PRETORIA - ActionSA councillor Nasiphi Moya has been elected the City of Tshwane's new deputy mayor.
She was elected unopposed on Thursday, with the multi-party coalition expressing full confidence in her.
Moya's election took place despite the EFF and ANC boycotting proceedings, claiming the process was flawed.

Both parties argue the deputy mayor should be elected from an existing mayoral committee.
The parties also accuse Moya of pocketing 10-thousand rand for a trip to Saudi Arabia she never went on.
This is alleged to have happened during her time as chief of staff for former Mayor Stevens Mokgalapa.
