This year's campaign will focus on drinking and driving, pedestrian safety, and vehicle roadworthiness.
Over 250 recently graduated traffic officers will also be observing operations until they're deployed on a full time basis.
The Transport Department says its main priority will be a steep reduction in the number of road fatalities this Easter.
