JOHANNESBURG - The Johannesburg council is considering a possible reduction of the controversial R200 electricity surcharge.
That's according to the new mayor Dada Morero.

The surcharge came into effect on 1 July, on top of an overall 12.7 percent increase.
"The matter is on the table for discussion in council and part of what we are going to do is to relook at a possible reduction," he said.
