EAST LONDON - Traffic officials across the country are keeping a close eye on busy roads as the festive season peaks.
More than 40 people have died on the road since the 1st of December in the Eastern Cape.
This has been described as one of the worst months of road carnage in the province in decades.
Authorities vow to intensify efforts to curb road deaths.
