Mokonyane denies plans to disband ANC KZN PEC

JOHANNESBURG - Deputy ANC Secretary-General Nomvula Mokonyane is echoing President Cyril Ramaphosa's statements about the KwaZulu-Natal PEC.

She says the National Working Committee is not about to disband committees before any interactions.

There has been widespread speculation that the PEC will be disbanded amid governance issues in the province.

The NWC is in the province as part of its renewal programme and to consolidate support ahead of the elections.
