Mkhwebane inquiry postponed to Monday

JOHANNESBURG - Suspended Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane will continue her testimony next week.

Parliament's Section 194 Inquiry is trying to determine whether or not she is fit to hold office.

Earlier, the matter briefly stalled when her legal representatives withdrew because of money issues.

Mkhwebane has approached the Apex Court to award her unlimited money for lawyers.

She says the matter should not proceed until the Constitutional Court pronounces the issue of her legal funding.
