Mkhwebane impeachment | Mpofu says delay allegations are hurtful

CAPE TOWN - Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane’s legal team denies it's been trying to delay the proceedings of the Section 194 Inquiry.

It says allegations made against Mkhwebane are hurtful and unfair.

Team leader Dali Mpofu says a lot had been done to prepare her predecessor Thuli Madonsela to testify before this inquiry.

Madonsela was subpoenaed to testify before the inquiry after having refused, saying her presence may not be of relevance.
