JOHANNESBURG - The Electoral Court has dismissed MK founder Jabulani Khumalo's urgent application for relief.
Khumalo claimed that Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla forged his signature on a document submitted to the IEC.
He says this was to create the impression that he was stepping down, and that former President Jacob Zuma would be his replacement.
Khumalo then headed to the Electoral Court to have the IEC's decision to register Zuma as party leader declared invalid, unlawful and set aside.

In a scathing ruling, the court dismissed this, saying the applicant perjured himself, the application is frivolous, lacks merit and constitutes an abuse of the court's processes.
