Meyiwa murder trial | Second person in house testifies

PRETORIA - Another friend of Senzo Meyiwa has testified about the day the soccer star was shot.

The trial of the alleged killers resumed on Tuesday after six months and it was not without drama.

Meyiwa was shot dead in 2014 at the home of his girlfriend, Kelly Khumalo.

Meyiwa's close friend, Mthokozisi Twala, took the stand.

Twala, who was in the house at the time, detailed the hours leading up to the shooting.

The trial continues on Wednesday, with more details about the shooting expected.
