MDATSANE - Chaos erupted in Mdatsane on Friday when the community clashed with police.

Residents are accusing police of failing to arrest criminals behind the vandalising of Cecilia Makiwane Hospital.

They have been raiding scrapyards in search of stolen copper cables that plunged the hospital into darkness.
