Mass funeral for Limpopo crash victims

TAFELKOP, Limpopo - Victims of last week's crash between a taxi and a truck will be laid to rest today in Limpopo.

16 people were killed on the R579 near Motetema in Groblersdal.

The taxi was allegedly attempting to overtake when it collided head-on with the truck.

A second taxi was also damaged in the crash.

The Limpopo government will hold a mass funeral at Tafelkop Stadium.

Premier Stan Mathabatha and other government officials will attend the burial.
