Calls for Gauteng to release usindiso fire victims bodies
JOHANNESBURG - There are calls for the Gauteng government to release the bodies of the people who died in the Usindiso building fire.
The Marshaltown Fire Justice Campaign says nearly a year on, families haven't been given their loved ones for proper burials.
In May this year, the Khampepe Commission of Inquiry found that the City of Johannesburg and its entities were liable for the 77 deaths.

There are calls for the Gauteng Forensic Pathology Services and Gauteng Department of Health to urgently speed up the DNA testing to identify the victim's bodies.
