JOHANNESBURG - A Johannesburg motorist is recovering after he drove into a trench.

Joburg water claims it had attended to a burst pipe at the corner of Judith Road and Beyers Naude near Marks Park on Friday and back filling after work was completed at 3 PM didn't happen immediately.
The driver, did not see the warning sign of the trench, before driving into it.
Users took to social media immediately after the incident complaining of poor signage, delays in covering open trenches in their neighbourhoods and potholes.
Many social media users also allege that the hole has been open for weeks.
