MALAMULELE - The Limpopo province has welcomed over 30 Christmas babies.

Health MEC, Phophi Ramathuba, paid a visit to the new moms and bundles of joy in various parts of the province.
The first baby was born five minutes after midnight, weighing 1.9-kilogrammes.
Ramathuba noted with concern that the newborn's mom is underage.
The 15-year-old girl gave birth at the Malamulele hospital.
By Monday afternoon the province had recorded 10 cases of underage mothers giving birth.
