JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi says there should be no mercy for those responsible for the killing of two young Soweto boys.
Lesufi says the perpetrators should face the full might of the law.
"We must resist exposing our children to death rather than careers," he says.
"We must resist for allowing our school children to come here and saying goodbyes instead whereas they have to say things that will make things better," he adds.
Lesufi says those that feel like they can do such deeds without being traced are wrong.
He has extended gratitude to community members who helped the police make arrests.
"This is a society that works," he says.
"What these patrollers have done, must be appreciated and they must know we appreciate the dearly," he adds.
