CAPE TOWN - Langa in the Western Cape is one of the oldest townships in South Africa and celebrates its centenary this year.
And with those celebrations comes the promise of a much-needed facelift and development.

Cape Town Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis has outlined the city's programme to commemorate Langa’s 100th Anniversary.
There has been a pledge to restore the township's historic sites and tourist attractions.
