DURBAN - A devastating tornado has swept through areas north of Durban, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.
Inanda, in particular, has suffered significant damage to its infrastructure.
Emergency services rescued two people trapped inside an overturned container.
There's also been extensive damage to roofs and power cables.
But, the full extent of the devastation is yet to be fully determined.
Authorities say the twister caught them off guard.
