KZN forced to make tough budget choices

PIETERMARITZBURG - The KwaZulu-Natal government has allocated R10-million to King Misuzulu’s legal tab in his battle for the Zulu throne.

The Zulu king has been embroiled in legal challenges since his ascension, as a faction in the royal household seeks to unseat him.

Finance MEC Francois Rodgers tabled his adjustment budget in the legislature in Pietermaritzburg, stressing the need for fiscal prudence.
