DURBAN - Families that lost loved ones during the KwaZulu-Natal floods in April are pleading for help.
At least seventy-two people are still missing, eight months later.
A mother has shared how difficult it's been for her to move on without finding one of her children.
Busisiwe Doncabe's 14-year-old daughter Akhona and 2-month-old Kuhlesibonge, unfortunately, did not make it out of their house in time.
The family says they've been waiting for rescue teams to come back since April.
During an update about the floods, KZN premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube shared that at least 72 people are still unaccounted for.
She promised families still looking for their loved ones that rescue teams will continue assisting them.
