DURBAN - The death toll from the KwaZulu-Natal floods has risen to 7, with one person still missing.
Three more bodies were discovered along the Umbilo River in eThwekwini.
The province was battered by heavy rains on Tuesday, leaving homes and infrastructure damaged.
Hundreds of people have also been left homeless following devastating rains in Inanda and surrounding areas.
Residents there are pleading with the government to relocate them to safer areas.
eThekwini Mayor Mxolisi Kaunda says affected residents will soon be relocated.
At the same time, Disaster Management teams are still assessing the damage of the storms.
