KZN Education Dept says all schools to reopen

DURBAN - The KwaZulu-Natal Education Department says all schools will open this week.

That's despite 59 schools being damaged by floods in the province over the festive season.

The department says it will redirect money from other projects to fix damaged schools.

"We have deployed more than 175 mobile classrooms," said department spokesperson Muzi Mahlambi.

"We are optimistic that we will have a smooth start."
