BLOEMFONTEIN - The future of Mangaung mayor Mxolisi Siyonzana hangs in the balance.
Siyonzana finds himself under attack from both his own party, the ANC and the opposition DA.
A motion of no confidence, set to be tabled by the DA, is only a few days away.
And in a twist of events, the ANC says it too has decided Siyonzana must go.

Newly-elected chairperson of the ANC in the Mangaung region, Lawrence Mathae, says they’re not only targeting Siyonzana.
They also want deputy mayor Mapaseka Mothibi-Nkoane and the Speaker herself, Stefani Lockman-Naidoo, gone from the council.
