CAPE TOWN - Zane Kilian, a co-accused of alleged underworld boss Nafiz Modack, continues to deny that he pinged anti-gang unit detective Charl Kinnear excessively.

The state says this was happening every three minutes, up until Kinnear was assassinated.
Kilian concedes, though, that he did ping Kinnear’s phone on numerous other occasions, and on the instructions of Modack.
Kinnear was shot dead outside his house in Bishop Lavis on the 18th of September 2020.
Ayesha Ismail filed this report.
