JOHANNESBURG - A witness in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial has written to President Cyril Ramaphosa to ask that the trial be prioritised.
Zandie Khumalo was in the house when the soccer star was killed.

She's currently under oath as the state's fifth witness.
She's asking that a courtroom be dedicated to the trial and that it sit weekly until a verdict is reached.
The trial will resume on 17 July where it's expected it will start from scratch.
This comes after the appointment of Judge Ratha Mothlokeng to preside over the trial.
He's taking over from Judge Tshifiwa Maumela, who's been suspended and fallen ill.
