PRETORIA - The firearm that’s suspected to have killed Senzo Meyiwa came under the spotlight once again on Wednesday.
In her testimony, the ballistic examiner at the police forensic laboratory, Captain Retha Grobler, linked a bullet projectile found at the Meyiwa crime scene to a firearm found in possession of accused number three, Mthobisi Ncube.

This is the same firearm that Ncube used to commit another murder in 2015, for which he now serves a jail sentence.
The court resumes on Thursday, with Captain Grobler back on the witness stand for further cross examination.
