PRETORIA - With the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial starting anew, questions remain on whether the new judge will be able to ensure a speedy trial.
The bench has now been officially taken over by Judge Ratha Mokgoatlheng.
Five men stand accused of killing the Bafana Bafana captain in 2014.
Judge Ratha Mogoatlheng didn't waste any time making his presence felt.
Mogoatlheng made it clear to counsel that he wasn't going to entertain any more delays, ordering that the the issue of the accused legal fees be dealt with urgently.
Questions remain on how the state will proceed.

Will previous witnesses be recalled or will the state begin where it left off with Zandie Khumalo in the witness box?
Court proceedings are set to resume with the accused putting their pleas on record.
