JOHANNESBURG - The police's Mlungisi Mthethwa has taken the stand in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial.
He was one of the first officers on the scene the day the soccer star was killed.

The lawyer for accused number four, advocate Zandile Mshololo cross-examined Mthethwa on whether he took precautions to ensure the crime scene was not tampered with.
Meyiwa was shot and killed in a Vosloorus home on 26 October 2014.
