Mbele siblings out on bail in insurance fraud case
CAPE TOWN - Cape Town siblings Wanda and Sindiswa Mbele, who are accused of fraudulently cashing out a funeral policy on their neighbour David Manuel, have each been granted R800 bail in the Athlone Magistrate's Court.
During his bail decision, Magistrate Keith Le Keur said that he was not satisfied with the state's case and that there was no evidence to show that the release of the Mbeles would not be in the best interests of the law.
