Joburg weather | Motorists urged to be careful on the roads

JOHANNESBURG - It's been a rainy few days around Gauteng.

Heavy downpours have lashed Johannesburg while it grapples with Stage 2 power cuts.

Emergency services have cautioned motorists to take it easy on the roads.

"We have been experiencing continuous rainfall in the City of Johannesburg and this has affected traffic flow where we've been seeing a lot of congestion at main arterials," said the JMPD's Xolani Fihla.

"With these unfavourable weather conditions, motorists are urged to drive with extra caution."
