Joburg council | Residents demand political stability

JOHANNESBURG - Margaret Arnolds has been elected the new City of Joburg Council Speaker.

But will this change the fortunes of residents who have long been complaining about poor service delivery?

Arnolds' election comes a week after Cope's Colleen Makhubele was booted out by her party after she allegedly joined a new alliance without informing them.

Arnolds is expected to preside over a council sitting next week.
