Joburg council meeting adjourned to Friday

JOHANNESBURG - Joburg will have to wait until Friday to get a new mayor.

Council speaker Colleen Makhubele adjourned Tuesday's meeting after it failed to reach a consensus on electing a new mayor.

Thapelo Amad stepped down from the role after just weeks in the position.
