JOHANNESBURG - The ANC in Johannesburg says Mpho Phalatse will be removed as mayor before the end of November.
The party says another motion of no confidence against Phalatse will be submitted soon.

This after the DA threatened court action, forcing Council Speaker Colleen Makhubele to withdraw the motion of no confidence from the agenda of Thursday’s council meeting.
Phalatse won a court bid challenging her removal as the City of Johannesburg's mayor.
The South Gauteng High Court found that the decision to place a motion of no confidence on the agenda was unlawful.
