DURBAN - AmaZulu King MisuZulu KaZwelithini has appointed Inkosi Thanduyise Mzimela as the new Ingonyama Trust Board Chairperson.
This brings the leadership impasse at the Trust to an end.
The King met Amakhosi in Ulundi on Tuesday to break the news to them.

Inkosi Mzimela takes over from the longest-serving chairperson to date Jerome Ngwenya.
He had been serving since the year 2000 appointed by the late King Goodwill Zwelithini.
The Trust administers over 2 million hectares of tribal land across KwaZulu-Natal and nets millions of rand in rental income.
