Impeachment inquiry | CASAC says Mkhwebane plays the victim

JOHANNESBURG - The Council for the Advancement of the South African Constitution (CASAC) has slammed allegations made by suspended Public Protector, Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane.

She says the organisation, the Democratic Alliance and Freedom Under Law have been working together to discredit her.

Mkhwebane was testifying at the Section 194 committee looking at her fitness to hold office.

CASAC Executive Secretary, Lawson Naidoo, says Mkhwebane is playing the martyr in her testimony.
