DURBAN - The Inkatha Freedom Party has criticised the intervention by the provincial and national government at eThekwini municipality, saying it is too mild and too little too late.
The party says the municipality should have been placed under administration long ago because it has now collapsed.
IFP eThekwini District Chairperson Mdu Nkosi says eThekwini has yet to fix the massive damage caused by the 2022 floods.
He says it has recently forfeited two grants worth over R200 million because politicians were squabbling over who should be awarded tenders.
