DURBAN - The various financial difficulties that college and university students are encountering are being looked at.
That's according to Higher Education Minister Blade Nzimande, who says he has met with NSFAS.
But students at uMfolozi TVET College in KwaZulu-Natal say they want an immediate solution because fellow students are finishing the semester without receiving any funding.

The students attended a youth vote event by Higher Education partnering with IEC to encourage young people to partake in voting ahead of the 2024 national polls.
The minister says he acknowledges the students' struggles but he points out that many factors are involved.
Nzimande adds that government will spend R3-billion over the next three years to solve student accommodation issues.
