Heritage Day | Government commits to fighting GBVF scourge

FICKSBURG, FREE STATE - Three decades into democracy, South Africa continues to celebrate its diverse Heritage. 

This while facing the persistent challenges of Gender-Based Violence and Femicide.

Deputy president Paul Mashatile addressed this issue and reiterated government's commitment to fighting the scourge.

Mashatile was speaking during National Heritage Day celebrations at the Meqheleng Stadium in Ficksburg.
