JOHANNESBURG - Health Minister Joe Phaahla will give an update on Wednesday on interventions to tackle the cholera outbreak.
This is due to a surge of new cases in Gauteng.

There have also been cases reported in the Free State and North West.
The outbreak is largely concentrated in Hammanskraal in the City of Tshwane.
On Wednesday, the Rooiwal Water Treatment plant -- which supplies the area -- was ruled out as the source.
